TRIWA
Irish Wolfhound Rescue
TRIWA
Irish Wolfhound Rescue is a group of volunteers in the midwest
dedicated to rehabilitating and placing Irish Wolfhounds and IW mixes into
new, permanent homes.
We work in conjunction with the IWCA national rescue to
assure that hounds in need of safe homes are given
veterinary care, rehabilitation, and placed in foster homes
until a forever home is available.
Fortunately, most ehtical irish wolfhound breeders are careful about
screening homes for their puppies and
the number of IWs coming into rescue is fewer than in many other breeds.
Because of this, approved homes on the rescue list often wait for some time
until an appropriate match is found.
